Bea Alonzo revealed that she has experienced having her lip cut due to the many slaps she endured from her co-star during a shoot for a scene.

She made the revelation in a her vlog where she collaborated with popular chef and content creator, Ninong Ry.

“Totoo ‘yung sampalan. Dati 25 takes ako,” Bea revealed to Ninong Ry.

The actress then recalled that because of the many slaps, she endured a cut on her lip.

She said, however, that even though she already sustained a minor injury, they went on with shooting the scene.

“Tapos pumutok ‘yung bibig ko. Tapos tuloy pa rin,” Bea said.

Ninong Ry then wondered why Bea and her co-star needed 25 takes. He also asked if the slap wasn’t perfect.

“Bakit kailangan 25 takes ‘yung sampal? ‘Di perfect ‘yung sampal?” Ninong Ry asked.

Bea then explained that it could be because her director appeared to be a perfectionist.

“Kasi ‘yung director namin nu’n, ano siya e, parang perfectionist,” Bea said.

Earlier, Bea also admitted that there are instances when she would use her real-life experiences in a scene so her acting would be realistic.
