The sister of Neil Salvacion, the ex-boyfriend of Rabiya Mateo, took to Facebook and rebutted the statements that were made by the beauty queen in Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.

Nhel Skie made a lengthy post and addressed the claims of Rabiya.

She said that Rabiya never rejected the proposal of Neil, and claimed that the beauty queen actually wore the ring before the pageant started internationally.

"You never rejected my brother’s proposal. In fact, you accepted it and wore the ring before your pageant started internationally," she said.

Nhel then claimed that something happened along the way.

"Something happened along the way and you opted to commit a sin during the pageant and you have to own up to that," she said.

Thereafter she said that Rabiya is lucky that Neil chose silence.

Rabiya Occeña Mateo is a Filipina-Indian model and is the reigning Miss Universe Philippines. The beauty queen represented the Philippines in the 69th Miss Universe pageant held on May 16, 2021, in Florida, USA. She concluded her journey in the prestigious pageant in the top 21.

Rabiya was recently invited to guest on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda." In a recent episode of the show, Boy Abunda asked Rabiya about Neil Salvacion. For the first time, Rabiya revealed why her relationship with Neil ended back in June 2021. According to Rabiya, Neil had actually proposed to her, which she turned down.
