Whamos Cruz and Antonette Gail Del Rosario are making headlines after they announced that they are now engaged.

They revealed that they got engaged on February 14, Valentine’s Day.

KAMI learned that Whamos even posted a 22-minute video about his proposal.

At one point in the video, it could be noticed that Whamos spoke with Antonette’s mother via video call to ask for the latter’s blessing.

“Mommy, kasi hihingin ko lang sana 'yung kamay ni Antonette. Magpo-propose na sana ako ngayong araw. Okay lang ba sa'yo, Mommy?” he asked.

To which Antonette’s mom answered, "Okay lang."

“Maraming maraming salamat, Mommy. Medyo umano na 'yung pakiramdam ko kasi baka mamaya sabihin ni Mommy na 'wag muna,” Whamos said.

He then showed the engagement ring to Antonette's mom and then invited her to come over to his house to witness the proposal.

"Sige. Support ko 'yan," Antonette’s mom further expressed.

Whamos Cruz is a TikTok and YouTube content creator and a social media star. Aside from his viral videos on social media, he also went viral after joining "Idol Philippines" where judges there became fond of him. It can be recalled that Whamos and his partner, Antonette Gail Del Rosario, became popular when their case reached the program of Raffy Tulfo.
