Maxene Magalona, 36, recently took to Instagram to share the heartfelt story of her Grab rider, Kuya Gil and how it tugged on her heartstrings.

In her lengthy online post, KAMI learned that the actress mentioned how she noticed Kuya Gil on a video call with a woman.

Eventually, during their ride, Maxene revealed that she struck up a conversation with Kuya Gil and asked about their story from him.

According to Maxene, Kuya Gil and Ate Clemen met online and started dating early this year. The two are apparently in a long-distance relationship.

"Kuya Gil and Ate Clemen started dating early this year after meeting online and are now in a long distance relationship as he works in Manila and she lives in Nueva Vizcaya. They told me that meeting each other was one of the best things that ever happened to them. Both of them came from previous relationships that were unhealthy and stagnant," Maxene shared.

In her post, Maxene shared what happened to Kuya Gil and Ate Clemen's previous relationships and how they affected them.

"While Ate Clemen’s ex-husband passed away, Kuya Gil left his ex-wife who cheated on him with his best friend. The painful incident happened to him 16 years ago and because he was too traumatized to get into another relationship, he decided to stay single and focus on his two daughters who are both now in their 20’s. Ever since he met ate Clemen though, he finally felt ready and open to love once again," she revealed.

By the end of her post, Maxene said she felt the couple's genuine love and happiness for each other, even going as far as to ask for relationship advice from them.

"I swear I could feel their genuine love and happiness. Kuya Gil actually drives his motorcycle for 7 hours just to be able to see Ate Clemen whenever he can. They’ve only been together in person for a few times and sometimes don’t see each other for 3 months. When I asked them for some relationship advice that they could share with me, they said, 'Tiwala lang. Tiwala sa isa’t isa at tiwala sa Diyos,'" she recounted.
