The second part of Boy Abunda’s interview with Paolo Contis in GMA’s “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” was aired on Monday.

During the interview, Paolo addressed the speculations that Yen Santos was involved in his and LJ Reyes’ breakup.

“Tanong ko sa'yo ngayon, si Yen Santos ba talaga ang dahilan ng paghihiwalay ninyo ni LJ?” Boy asked the actor.

To which Paolo quickly answered, “Hindi.”

Pao went on to enumerate his shortcomings when he and LJ were still together.

“Somehow, medyo matagal na kaming hindi okay ni LJ... Napapadalas 'yung away away. I think it's kung baga combination na ng stress sa pandemic and everything. One of my biggest mistakes was hindi ko inalala 'yung mental health ni LJ. Isa 'yan sa feeling ko naging simula ng downfall namin, na hindi ko inisip 'yon. Kapag nahihirapan siya during pandemic, ang utak ko, alam mo yon, yung '4 times a day tayong kumain. Chill ka diyan.' Which was one of my biggest mistakes.”

“Plus 'yung pagdi-diskarte ko ng sarili ko, na hindi ko na ini-inform sa kanya yung mga bagay-bagay, which led to bigger problems.

“Plus, 'yun na nga, everytime akong nakakalabas ng bahay dahil pandemic, may work, may mga kalokohan din akong ginagawa.”

Pao’s statement then prompted the King of Talk to ask, “Were you starting to see Yen during that time?”

“No,” he answered.

“Kasi dito lumabas 'yung 'as a friend,' naalala mo?” Boy queried.

“Yung as a friend, nu'ng nag-Baguio kami ni Yen, nasa States na sina LJ noon. Nagmukhang baligtad kasi your interview with LJ came out pero wala na kami sa Baguio nu'n. So ang feeling ng tao, habang ini-interview mo si LJ, nasa Baguio ako. Pero when you were interviewing LJ, at least 10 days na silang nasa States. I left for Baguio, nasa States na sila. Hindi na kami no'n,” Paolo said.

Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". Despite being cast in the popular teleserye "Mara Clara", Contis was better known for being part of the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-girlfriends include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.

Paolo has finally confirmed that he and Yen Santos are in a romantic relationship. The actor made the revelation during the second part of Boy Abunda’s interview with him in GMA’s “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

During the first part of the interview, Paolo got emotional while talking about his children. The actor also took the chance to thank Lian Paz and her partner John Cabahug.
