Kakai Bautista stunned many after sharing on social media that it was she who sang the theme song of the now-defunct Kapuso anthology show “Maynila.”

As per the comedienne and singer, she sang the soundtrack with its composer Vince de Jesus.

“2002, The First and The Only ThemeSong I recorded,” she revealed in her recent post on Instagram.

“Composed and also sung by THE #vincedejesus,” Kakai also opened up.

On TikTok, Kakai also shared a video showing her singing the theme song.

“Maynila theme after 20 years,” her on-screen caption reads.

In the comments section, netizens expressed how stunned they are by the revelation.
