Alex Gonzaga just found herself under the spotlight after Peter Ledesma, a showbiz broadcaster and writer, clarified her viral video.
Previously, the actress-vlogger was in hot water after a video of her smearing cake frosting on a waiter's face trended all over social media.
Following this news, KAMI learned that Peter went ahead to clarify the viral video from Alex's birthday party on behalf of the Gonzaga family.

Peter, who is a longtime publicist friend of the Gonzagas, released a screenshot containing his statement about the said incident.

"Hi and good day, Sir Michael of Fashion Pulis. This is Peter Ledesma, entertainment columnist and vlogger and longtime publicist friend of [the] Gonzaga family. Favor, may I clear the issue regarding Alex Gonzaga['s] viral birthday video and the waiter, Allan," Peter began.
According to Peter, in his statement, Allan is actually a friend of Mommy Pinty Gonzaga, as well as the Soriano family.
"This Allan, one of the waiters of Florabel Resto and Catering Service in Valle Verde Pasig, is a friend of Mommy Pinty Gonzaga and Soriano family. Kaya majority of the event of Gonzaga and Soriano family ay sila ang kinukuha ni Mommy Pinty na mag-cater ng food and beverages," he explained.
Halfway through his statement, Peter claimed that Allan is the one who often serves Mommy Pinty and Alex.
"At itong si Allan ay laging kabiruan [ni] Mommy Pinty and Alex at ito ang parating nagse-serve sa kanila. Kaya tuwing nagkikita ay binabati agad ni Allan ang mag-mommy, magiliw ito sa kanila. Hindi naman magagawa ni Alex ang magbiro at magpunas ng cake kung [hindi] sila magkakilala ng said waiter na sanay na sa pagiging mapagbiro at kikay ni Alex," he revealed.
By the end of his statement, Peter clarified that Alex was not drunk in the viral video which was originally posted by Dani Barretto.
"This is the side of Mommy Pinty na higit na nakakaalam ng istorya ng anak. And one more thing ay hindi totoong lasing si Alex na tulad ng pinalalabas ng kanyang detractors and bashers. Thank you, Fashion Pulis and good day again," he wrote.
Previously, as per The Manila Times, Alex topped Twitter trends after her 'icing incident' video went viral among netizens on social media.
It is worth noting that amid the issue, Dani Barretto, who originally uploaded the video, deleted the post on her page as per The Philippine Star.
