Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi talked about Vhong Navarro in the latest episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” uploaded on Wednesday.

Amid their discussion, Ogie said he was able to speak with Vhong recently.

“Kasi nga nakausap ko si Vhong Navarro,” the talent manager told Mama Loi.

Ogie then went on to share what Vhong allegedly told him.

“Hindi pa muna siya babalik sa 'It's Showtime.' Pero babalik din siya,” Ogie shared.

“Pero sa ngayon, ini-enjoy niya nga muna 'yung kanyang mag-iina. Katulad 'yung mga anak niya na medyo dinapuan din ng anxiety, ng depression mula nung ang kanilang ama ay nakulong kaya ngayon ay ini-enjoy nang bonggang-bongga ni Vhong 'yung kanyang mag-iina lalo na 'yung kanilang mga kids.”

Mama Ogs further aired, “Siyempre gusto ni Vhong, itong Pasko at Bagong Taon ay magkakasama sila na walang ibang iniintindi na trabaho kundi 'yung kanyang mga anak lang.”

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

The camp of Vhong, in an interview with ANC Headstart, expressed optimism that he will be acquitted. This came after the court granted Vhong bail to the tune of P1 million, which was complied with by the actor. He was released from Taguig City Jail and was picked up by his wife, Tanya Bautista on Dec. 6.

Vhong recently got reunited with Streetboys members, including Jhong Hilario and Spencer Reyes. Cristy Fermin then aired her thoughts on the dance group’s merry reunion.
