Dennis Padilla was not able to hide his disappointment upon seeing the total amount of their bill in a restaurant he and his OFW friend ate at.

On Saturday, December 17, KAMI learned that the actor-comedian uploaded a video where he recounted their experience at the restaurant.

According to Dennis, one order of mango shake alone was priced at Php 450.00 while the lobster was around Php 5,500.

In the viral video, Dennis could not help but say, "Sobra. Alam mo, sobra. Kami, sanay kami magbayad ng mahal, pero ito sobra."

He then explained that he and his friend, who is an OFW, ate at a restaurant located on Seaside, Diosdado Macapagal Avenue.

"Kumain kami rito kasama yung balikbayan friend ko, dito sa lugar na 'to, Aling Mahrya's. Dito yan sa Seaside. Alam niyo ho ba kung magkano ang isang mango shake? 450. Alam niyo kung magkano ang per kilo ng lobster? 5,500. Kaya nakaka-frustrate, nakakalungkot. Kapwa Pilipino, ganun ang ginagawa nila," he said.

Dennis then revealed that their bill hit Php 38,000 and that he felt hurt for his friend who is a 'balikbayan'.

"Ito po yung resibo namin, umabot po ng 38,000. Ako nahihiya ako. Hindi naman ako yung nagbayad eh, yung best friend ko po yung nagbayad, ako po nasaktan kasi balikbayan," he said.

Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia, better known by his screen name Dennis Padilla, is a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster, and actor. He was born on February 9, 1962, to the late actor-comedian Prudencio Baldivia and Catalina Baldivia. He is the father of popular actress Julia Barretto.

As previously reported by KAMI, Dennis Padilla stunned netizens on social media due to his recent online post. On Instagram, the actor-comedian posted a new selfie he took with Maja Salvador. It is worth noting that Maja and Dennis have worked together in a sitcom under TV5. The said sitcom is "Oh My Korona" where Maja plays the role of a manager.

Meanwhile, Dennis Padilla, as per Ogie Diaz, did not receive any money from the comedian. Previously, Dennis was interviewed by Ogie online. According to Ogie, while he did offer money to the actor, the latter kept on refusing it. The talent manager then said, "Yung paghahabol kay Julia, jusko, si Dennis ang nag-provide nung si Marjorie at si Dennis pa, dun sa mga anak."
