Vhong Navarro became a topic anew in the latest episode of Cristy Fermin’s radio program, “Cristy Ferminute.”

The veteran showbiz columnist and her co-host, Romel Chika, tackled the actor and TV host’s reunion with Streetboys members, including Jhong Hilario and Spencer Reyes.

After Vhong’s latest photo with several members of the dance group went viral, Cristy expressed her hope that the former has now redeemed his self-confidence.

“Kaya tayo ay umaasa, nakuha na ulit ni Vhong ang tiwala sa kanyang sarili,” said Cristy.

Furthermore, Cristy aired more thoughtful words for Vhong.

“Nakakabawi-bawi na siya. At sana tuloy-tuloy na,” Cristy wished.

Vhong Navarro is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

The camp of Vhong, in an interview with ANC Headstart, expressed optimism that he will be acquitted. This came after the court granted Vhong bail to the tune of P1 million, which was complied with by the actor. He was released from Taguig City Jail and was picked up by his wife, Tanya Bautista on Dec. 6.

The "It's Showtime" host made headlines due to the court’s decision to grant his petition for bail and have temporary liberty. Cristy Fermin immediately reacted to the news. As per Cristy, the said news made a lot of people happy, especially Vhong’s family, colleagues and fans. The veteran showbiz columnist also seemed pleased that Vhong could be with his loved ones again and resume working.
