Mylene Dizon, sinabing di raw niya gagawing “investment” ang kanyang mga anak: “Di ako maniningil”

- Mylene Dizon, during the media conference for the new film “Family Affairs,” said that she doesn’t see herself making her children into an “investment” for future needs

- The actress said that while it is the moral duty of children to see to it that their parents are well taken care of, they shouldn’t be obligated to do just that

- She said further that for her, parents who obligate their children to care for them in the future since they also took care of their children when they were young are totally wrong

- Mylene said that she would rather advise her kids to be better parents and to take care of their families

Mylene Dizon, during the media conference for the film “Family Affairs,” said that she isn’t inclined to make her children into an “investment” for future needs.

She said that while it may be the moral duty of children to see to it that their parents are okay, they shouldn’t be obligated to do just that.

However, there may be instances when other children may not want to do it for some reason or another and in that case, they shouldn’t be forced into doing what they do not want to do.

“There are three different things already. There is our obligation to take care of our parents because they are our parents, not really obligations but it’s I want to do it. Either you want to do it or you do not want to do it,” Mylene said.

“There’s another thing when we make our children as in investment to secure our future, that’s wrong! For me definitely that’s wrong, super wrong. That’s not the obligation of the children,” the actress added.

“I will never obligate my children, hindi ako maniningil, I’ve never do that but I’d rather advise my children to take care of their family in the future and to be better people, better parents,” Mylene concluded.
