Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend, Francis Magalona. The actress revealed in May 2020 that she has been seeing a psychiatrist due to her mental illness.
She opened up about being able to stand and smile despite dealing with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). Ever since she got the diagnosis, she worked on growing and transforming herself. For that reason, Maxene is no longer defined by her past and the future has stopped giving her anxiety. Aside from writing a message about C-PTSD, Maxene also uploaded photos from her solo trip to Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay.
She was unfairly accused by bashers of causing the alleged split between Angel Locsin and Neil Arce. Amid the controversy, Maxene shared a prayer relevant to her current situation. The meaningful prayer is about blocking negative energy from affecting her mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Furthermore, it is a prayer of gratitude to God for giving her peace, confidence, knowledge and resilience.
