Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” tackled the emergence of fake news about Angel Locsin and Neil Arce.

The veteran showbiz columnist shared some fabricated stories she learned about the married couple.

“Ang dami naman po kasi, sumasargo naman po kasi ang mga vloggers ngayon. Tabi-tabi po ah, ang tamaan talaga ay mabubukulan. Napakarami po talagang vloggers ngayon na ibang klase na po ang kanilang atake. Nandiyan pinatay ang isang personalidad, nandiyan binugbog si Neil Arce, nandiyan si Angel nagmamakaawa kay Maxene na 'wag siyang saktan. Naku ang dami-dami pong kwento na puro wala naman pong katotohanan.”

“At saka ito po ah, masaya po kami na lahat tayo ay kumikita sa kani-kaniyang paraan na alam natin. Pero sana naman po, magkaroon tayo ng kahihiyan. Kikita po dapat tayo sa paraan na totoo ang ating mga ibinabalita. Hindi 'yung ipapakita niyo na bugbog sarado itong si Neil Arce, binugbog ng kapatid ni Maxene. Na itong si Maxene naglulumiwa, umiiyak at ang sabi, 'Salamat, pinanagutan mo ang anak natin.'”

Cristy then went on to air her honest reactions to the fake narratives.

“Mga kapatid, nakakakilabot po ang mga ganyang kwento,” she said.

The entertainment reporter also urged the public, “Tayo na po ang dapat maging responsable sa pipiliin po nating mga balita. 'Wag na po nating pahabain pa ang buhay ng mga kwentong ganito.”
