Derek Ramsay, may “unforgettable experience” sa bakasyon: “Getting altitude sickness was worth it”

- He jokingly lamented that his wife just laughed at him and slept soundly during the trip

Derek Ramsay recently admitted in an Instagram post that he already had an “unforgettable experience” while vacationing in Peru with his wife, Ellen Adarna.

It can be recalled that Ellen’s wedding anniversary present to Derek was the trip to some of Peru’s premier destination spots like the high-altitude Machu Picchu.

In his post, Derek added the hashtags ‘#ithoughtiwasgoingtodie’ and ‘#Imstillalive’, giving an indication about what he felt at the very moment.

He did admit, however, that the place is “so beautiful” that the trip was worth it.

“This place is so beautiful that getting altitude sickness was worth it!” Derek wrote.

The actor then jokingly lamented that his wife just laughed at him and slept soundly during the trip.

“ Thank you @maria.elena.adarna for laughing at me and for sleeping on me during this traumatic and unforgettable experience ,” he added.

In her reply, Ellen advised Derek to just take slow breaths.

“Breathe in - breathe out. Slow breaths my love. Its all in your head ,” Ellen wrote in reply.

The actress said that the trip to the 2,430-meters high Machu Picchu is among Derek’s bucket list.

Aside from playing the instrument, the actress was also singing the said 90’s song in the reel. Derek Ramsay then took to the comment section of the post to gush over his wife’s performance. The actor called Ellen “My pop star,” which prompted the latter to reply.

He also posted a "kilig" video on his Instagram feed. The said video garnered over 40,000 likes on the aforementioned social media platform. The famous actor didn't put any caption on his post but it really made his followers happy. In the video, he and his wife, Ellen Adarna, are seen having sweet moments.
