Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol is set to appear as the main character and star in a GMA TV afternoon series that is said to be scheduled to air soon.

This was announced through an Instagram post by Wilbert Tolentino, the manager of the comedienne and beauty queen.
“Kapuso Comedienne/Beauty Queen Herlene Hipon Budol, bibida na sa kanyang unang Kapuso series!” Sir Wil’s IG post read.
He also asked everyone to watch for Herlene’s upcoming afternoon TV series, which has a tentative title of “Magandang Dilag.”

“Abangan sya sa upcoming GMA Afternoon series na may tentative title na #MagandangDilag,” Hipon Girl’s manager further wrote.
Wilbert then revealed that the beauty queen is set to appear in the series alongside Benjamin Alves and Rob Gomez.
“Makakapareha nya sina Benjamin Alves and Rob Gomez!” Herlene’s manager said.
Sir Wil then took time to congratulate the comedienne and beauty queen on her new milestone.
“Congratulations Mima Herlene Nicole Budol Coming very soon sa Hapon ng Pinoy, GMA Afternoon Prime!” Wilbert said.
Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as Hipon Girl, is a comedienne, actress, and a host in now-defunct Kapuso show "Wowowin". Hipon gained popularity when she joined "Willie of Fortune." Willie Revillame decided then to make her a regular co-host of the show.
Recently, Sir Wil also confirmed that what Herlene complained over at Sen. Raffy Tulfo’s program about her previous manager is true. Earlier, the beauty queen appeared on Raffy Tulfo’s program to seek help in collecting her alleged talent fee from the said former manager. Sir Wil also confirmed Herlene’s claims about her former manager making signs on a blank piece of paper.
