Cristy Fermin sa di pagpapapasok kay Sharon Cuneta sa Hermès store: “Nalulungkot ako dito na naaawa”

Cristy Fermin talked about Sharon Cuneta, who became trending recently after she was turned away at an Hermès Store in Seoul, South Korea.

In the latest episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” Cristy expressed what she felt after seeing the Megastar barred from entering the store.

“Nalulungkot ako dito na naaawa,” said the veteran showbiz columnist.

"Ako din, Nanay. Kasi parang pinagmumukha nilang parang walang alam si Sharon as a customer. Na alam naman nating lahat, Diyos ko, bago pumutok ang mga pangalang 'yan, nu'ng kadalagahan ni Sharon, pinagsawaan na niya 'yang mga branded na 'yan," Romel Chika reacted.

To which Cristy responded, “Oo, 'yang lahat po na mga branded stuff, lahat po 'yan. Meron pa po siyang mga Louis Vuitton na bata pa lamang siya ay meron na siya pero hanggang ngayon po ay naiingatan niya.”

Cristy also supposed that being turned away by a staff of the luxury boutique hurt Sharon’s feelings.

“Saka kung ikaw ay isang Sharon Cuneta na alam mo na kayang-kaya mong bumili nu'ng pipiliin mo sa Hermès, kung ikaw ay isang Sharon Cuneta na walang duda na itong mga kagamitang ipinagmamalaki niyo meron, na ako, napakasakit naman na hindi ka pinapasok.”

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent and veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.

Sharon Cuneta recently responded to one of her bashers on social media. Previously, Sharon made headlines when she was turned away at Hermès in Seoul, South Korea. Following this news, a basher commented on the Megastar's post and called her a hypocrite. This prompted Sharon to clap back at the basher before saying "mema lang."

Lolit Solis also shared her thoughts about Sharon Cuneta not being allowed to enter a Hermès store in Korea. The entertainment columnist said that what Hermès did to Sharon is the “height of discrimination”. She added that the Hermès store in Korea must have lost sales due to how they treat potential customers. Earlier, Sharon already clarified that the Hermès store was just implementing COVID-19 protocols.
