Deniece Cornejo, naghain ng petisyon sa korte na ilipat si Vhong Navarro sa Taguig City Jail

- Cornejo's camp prayed for the urgent resolution of the petition that they filed

- In their manifestation, they highlighted that there was a denial of the Motion for the Issuance of Status Quo Ante order and because of the denial, it paved the way for the "full and proper execution of the warrant of arrest"

Deniece Cornejo has just filed her petition in court seeking for the transfer of Vhong Navarro from the NBI detention center to Taguig City Jail.

The model filed a "Manifestation with Urgent Motion," as per the report of Manila Times.

It was a three-page manifestation which was filed after the denial of the motion of the comedian's camp.

Vhong filed a Motion for Reconsideration in the Court of Appeals which sought reconsideration of its decision directing the Department of Justice to file rape and acts of lasciviousness charges against him but was denied by the CA, as reported by Rappler.

The wife of Vhong, Tanya Bautista-Navarro, has recently faced the press and stated that she fears for the safety of her husband if he would be moved to the Taguig City Jail, Manila Bulletin reported.

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He is part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is currently hosting the noontime variety show, It's Showtime.

Vhong allegedly cried his heart out while in detention when his wife Tanya left him. As per the report of Bandera, the comedian simply cried hard when Tanya needed to leave. They were still able to talk lengthily and Vhong also assured her that he was okay. She recounted that the people at the detention center were also kind to him and the comedian would often ask about how all of them are.

Previously, Deniece's camp already insisted that Vhong Navarro would have to be moved to Taguig City Jail. As of this writing, the comedian actor is still at the NBI Detention facility. The camp of Vhong will also be filing a petition for bail, in order to avail temporary liberty for the actor. Vhong is facing two separate charges for acts of lasciviousness and for rape.
