Cristy Fermin took a trip down memory lane and recalled the time when she and Vhong Navarro both graced a show in Canada.

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute” aired on Friday, Cristy shared Vhong’s mannerisms that she witnessed personally.

“Diba nabanggit ko one time, nu'ng mag-show kami sa Canada, si Vhong Navarro ang pinakamatagal kong nakatabi sa tulugan sa eroplano. Mula po ito sa British Columbia hanggang Pilipinas, 12 oras po 'yun.” At sa tagal po namin sa Canada, ito naman po ay sinasabi ko dahil totoo po ito na naranasan ko at nakita ko. Maging sa pagkuha po ni Vhong Navarro sa audience ng babae na kanyang pasasayahin sa pagkanta sa entablado, kitang-kita ko po kung papanong napakamarespeto po ni Vhong Navarro.

The showbiz columnist then recollected how the “It’s Showtime” host allegedly treated a woman from the audience.

"At sinasabi niya, 'Pwede ko bang hawakan ang kamay mo? Pwede bang akbayan kita? May boyfriend ka ba na pwede kong pagpaalaman?'” she narrated.

“Du'n po sa mga simpleng bagay na ganu'n, ina-appreciate ko po 'yun. Pero hindi po ako nakikialam sa kaso nila ni Deniece Cornejo,” Cristy then clarified.

Vhong Navarro is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He is part of the dance group Street boys in the Philippines. He is currently hosting the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

Vhong Navarro's "It's Showtime" co-hosts have recently expressed support for him. In the latest episode of the Kapamilya show, Jhong Hilario suddenly mentioned Vhong and gave him an uplifting message. Vice Ganda also invited his fellow hosts to form a group hug for Vhong. The Unkabogable Phenomenal Star likewise added that they will be praying for Vhong.

Streetboys has also launched a movement in support of Vhong Navarro after his warrants of arrest for two cases filed by Deniece Cornejo were issued. The group, where Vhong used to belong, used the hashtags #WeStandWithVhongNavarro, #WeBelieveVhong and #JusticeForVhong. They also appealed that justice will be given to the host comedian.
