Cristy Fermin has recently talked about Julia Barretto's interview with Karen Davila where she opened up about her relationship with Dennis Padilla, her father.

In 'SNN online, KAMI learned that the veteran columnist pitied Julia and even went to defend her against the people criticizing her interview.

At one point, Cristy recalled the time when Marjorie did everything on her own for the sake of her children and raising them as a single mom.

During her discussion with Morly Alinio and Romel Chika, Cristy began, "Ako'y naniniwala kasi, Morly at Romel, walang bagay na bigla sa mundo. Unti-unti yan na pataas ng pataas hanggang sa pumutok."

She then recalled the time Marjorie was helped by her siblings in raising her children, praising the celebrity mom for doing all that she can for them.

"Una, nung magkahiwalay si Marjorie at si Dennis, tanging tama ka, si Marjorie lang ang kinagisnan nilang magulang, ang lahat ng kailangan nila, si Marjorie ang sumasagot. May tulong pa nga ng ibang mga kapatid ni Marjorie noon, sila Gretchen, si Claudine. Pero higit yung ipinakitan ni Marjorie na kadakilaan sa mga anak nila ni Dennis," she said.

Cristy then pointed out, "At tsaka isa pa, yung pagsasalita ni Dennis ng hindi kagandahan kontra sa kanyang mga anak, yung dapat ay tinatago na lamang niyang bagay para sa kanyang sarili, inilalabas niya sa publiko."

Eventually, Cristy added, "May punto ang mga bata, kaya lang, nakakulong sila doon sa kapaniwalaan nating mga Pilipino at kahit siguro kahit saan man sa mundo na ang anak ay anak lang at ang magulang ay magulang."

At one point, the veteran columnist said, "Wag po nating kalilimutan na ang magulang ay magulang, pero hindi po pwedeng laging iparalin ng magulang na siya ay magulang kaya hindi na siya dapat hanapan ng pagkakamali."

Adding further to that statement, Cristy reminded her viewers, "Kapag may nilalabas silang hinaing o hinampo tungkol sa isang tao, lalo na kung sa kanyang ama o ina, makinig din po tayo."
