Pokwang has recently taken to social media and penned her honest thoughts on the news that people are now allowed not to wear masks outdoors.
KAMI learned that in a Twitter post, the Kapuso star shared why she decided to still wear a face mask in outdoor places.
The comedienne said it is because she respects the health of others.
“Well kanya-kanya tayo ng pananaw at opinyon pero mag mask parin ako dahil nirerespeto ko kalusugan mo at ng kasama mo sa bahay na maaaring mahawa mo na nakuha mo sakin kung di ako naka mask,” she wrote.

Marietta Subong or Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.”
As previously reported by KAMI, Pokwang shared a video of her rehearsal for her production number for TikToClock in GMA. She described it as a buwis-buhay prod number, which can be clearly seen in the video. The comedienne laughed at herself for having been able to successfully execute the stunts despite her age.
Meanwhile, Pokwang shared lovely video clips of her Sunday with her children. She considers Sunday as her "junakis day," which means she would be devoting her time to her kids on such day. The mom said that it makes her happy to cook for her children. In the afternoon, they would be going to church, and for Pokie, it is a happy Sunday.
