Lianne Valentin revealed that she learned a lot from the Kapuso series ‘Apoy sa Langit’ and her portrayal of Stella.

In an exclusive interview with KAMI, she shared that she considers being in the project an “opportunity of a lifetime.”

“I'm very grateful sa Sparkle and sa GMA Network. I mean ang tagal ko na sa kanila, since I was 9 years old. I started sa 'Tropang Potchi,' I was a children's show host there."

"So, I'm very gery grateful sa kanila na binigyan nila ako ng opportunity na ganito. It's an opportunity of a lifetime. Minsan lang mangyari 'yung ganitong klaseng role na sobrang ganda at masaya ako na sa akin 'yon napunta at pinagkatiwalaan nila ako sa role na 'yon.”

The Kapuso actress also expressed gratefulness that the role was entrusted to her because it changed her in some ways.

“So nagpapasalamat ako sa Sparkle, sa GMA for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity kasi grabe, binago ako nitong 'Apoy sa Langit.' 'Yung journey ko sa pag-aartista, 'yung journey ko 'yung career ko, binago ako nitong role ko dito sa 'Apoy sa Langit.'”

She then went on to enumerate how her character, Stella, helped her grow.

“I will forever cherish this project, it helped me grow personally. 'Yung confidence ko, 'yung self-esteem ko, ang dami kong natutunan dito. It really helped me personally and with my career, pagdating sa skill sa acting, I experienced so much, I explored so much in this project so masayang-masaya ako. So, thank you talaga sa GMA and sa Sparkle.”

Aside from expressing gratitude to GMA, Lianne also thanked her co-actors, director Laurice Guillen and her acting coach Ana Feleo.

“And siyempre sa mga co-actors ko na very very supportive. Of course, kay Direk Laurice Guillen, kay Ms. Ana Feleo, sobrang grateful ako sa kanila sa pagtulong sa akin sa pagbuo ng karakter ni Stella Fernandez.”

She also thanked the supporters and viewers who watched the teleserye until its finale.

“Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga nanood ng 'Apoy sa Langit' since day 1 until the end. Sinamahan niyo kami and maraming maraming salamat dahil minahal niyo 'yung bawat karakter, ni Stella, ni Gemma, ni Cesar, ni Ning, lahat. Thank you dahil nakita niyo 'yung pagkatao nila. Maraming salamat dahil tinangkilik niyo itong show na 'Apoy sa Langit.'”

Lianne Valentin is an actress and model under Sparkle GMA artist center. She is first seen on 'Tropang Potchi,' GMA's now-defunct children's show. She recently starred in Kapuso series 'Apoy sa Langit' along with Zoren Legaspi, Maricel Laxa and Mikee Quintos.

Lianne Valentin shared with KAMI the actors she wanted to work with. She said she dreamt of working with late actress Cherie Gil, but she knows that it is not going to happen since the latter has already passed away. The 'Apoy sa Langit' star, on the other hand, looks forward to working with Cannes-winning actress Jaclyn Jose. She also shared with KAMI her dream role.

Furthermore, she was asked about her advice to women who are like Stella, who had an affair with Cesar, Zoren Legaspi's character in the show. The Kapuso actress stressed the downside of loving someone too much.
