Ogie Diaz got the opportunity to talk to John Lloyd Cruz about Ellen Adarna and her husband, Derek Ramsay, who played a huge role in Elias' life.

Just recently, KAMI learned that Ogie and John Lloyd attended the birthday party of their common friend, Director Edgar 'Bobot' Mortiz.

At the party, Ogie and John Lloyd managed to catch up where the talent manager then asked the actor about his ex-partner.

According to Ogie, their conversation began with him complimenting Elias' handsome features which prompted him to tease John Lloyd.

"Pero saglit ay nakausap natin si John Lloyd Cruz. Sabi ko sa kanya, 'Ang gwapo gwapo ni Elias, dagdagan mo na yan.' Sabi na lang ni John Lloyd, 'Nako Og, bahala na.' Tas sabi ko, 'Buti okay kayo ni Ellen sa bata.' 'Oo naman, pag gusto ko naman hiramin yung anak ko, nahihiram ko naman,'" he shared.

Continuing further, Ogie revealed that John Lloyd expressed his gratitude towards Derek and his positive effect on Elias' life.

"Tsaka sabi sakin ni John Lloyd na maganda rin na andun si Derek. 'Ah talaga bakit?' 'Kasi naiintindihan ako ni Derek bilang tatay din siya. Ang ganda rin ng ginagawa ni Derek para sa anak ko, four years old pa lang yan, Ogie, parang matured na,' sabi niya. So malaking bahagi rin daw si Derek kung bakit yung anak niya eh lumalaking responsable at maraming alam na sports, mga ganyan," Ogie said.

Halfway through their conversation, John Lloyd said that he and Ellen does not have any problems with each other, as per Ogie.

"Tas sabi pa sakin ni John Lloyd, 'Eh okay naman kami. Wala naman kaming problema ni Ellen. Basta pagdating kay Elias, co-parenting talaga kami,'" Ogie shared.
