Cristy Fermin has stunned the viewers of 'Cristy Ferminute' online when she said that Jaclyn Jose's announcement about her retirement is a "false alarm."
In the latest episode of CFM, KAMI learned that Cristy and Romel Chika were discussing Jaclyn's viral Instagram post where she said she will retire from showbiz.
According to Cristy, while it was indeed a saddening news for everyone, she understands Jaclyn's decision about wanting to retire from the industry.

The veteran columnist then pointed out how Jaclyn missed out a lot on her children when they were growing up since she had to work hard for them.

"Naiintindihan natin na nung lumalaki si Andi at si Gwen, hindi niya nabigyan ng sapat na pagkandili at panahon ang kanyang mga anak dahil naging abala siya sa paggawa ng pelikula, ng telebisyon, at iba pa," she began.
However, Cristy said that Jaclyn's retirement from showbiz is still far from happening after she managed to talk to Jojo Gabinete.
"Kausap niya kahapon si Jaclyn, at ang sabi nga sa kanya, gusto niya kaya lamang meron pa pala siyang natitirang dalawang taong kontrata sa GMA-7. Na-false alarm. Sabi niya, 'Hi, Jojo. I wanted to but I still have two-year contract with GMA,' sabi niya," she revealed.
Cristy then aired her message to the followers of Jaclyn who were saddened by the veteran actress's online post.
"Kaya yung mga nalulungkot po, dahil baka bigla na tayong iwan ni Jaclyn Jose at mami-miss natin ang kanyang pag-arte, hindi po matutuloy ang kanyang pagreretiro dahil meron pa po siyang kailangang tapusin na dalawang taong kontrata sa GMA-7," she said.
