Marietta Subong or Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.” She is a Kakampink and has been very vocal in supporting former Vice President Leni Robredo.
Pokwang took to Instagram and started to promote her products. This time, the design has already changed, and only Mamang Pokwang can be found. Previously, the designs of the products included both her and her ex-partner, Lee O'Brian. Now, Lee is no longer in the pictures and designs, and what's left is just "Mamang Pokwang"
Pokwang took to Instagram and made her own funny 'carabao English' entry following the post of her BFF K Brosas - The entry was a deliberate attempt to twist the English language by posting a grammatically incorrect sentence - K initially posted, "Bobo daw ako sa English haha. I'm not care" - Thereafter, the comedienne posted her very own entry, "Who is them to tell me..."
