- The actor also thanked his ‘Ang Probinsyano’ family, consisting of actors, directos writers, staff and crew, cameramen, art department, drone, lighting and fight directors, audio men, talents, stuntmen and all members of the show and its production family

Coco Martin has posted on his Instagram account his farewell message to all the fans and viewers of ‘Ang Probinsyano.’

The show, which began airing on September 28, 2015, finally closed its curtains on Friday, August 12, after 1,696 episodes and almost seven years on Philippine TV.

In his farewell message, Coco thanked the Almighty for giving them work all throughout those years, adding that the TV series helped many lives and families.

“Maraming Salamat, Panginoon sa pitong taon na trabaho na ibinigay nyo sa amin, Napakarami pong buhay at pamilya ang natulungan dahil sa aming programa,” Coco said in his message.

He also took time to thank all of those who were part of the show, from actors to stuntment and talents, to the TV series’ production arm, Dreamscape.

“Sa aking pamilya na nakasama ko sa loob ng pitong taon, sa lahat ng artista, directors, writers, staff/crew, cameramen, drone, art department, audio men, lighting directors, fight directors, stuntmen, talents, sa lahat ng bumubuo ng programa namin, @dreamscapeph family, sobra kong saya at proud na naka buo tayo ng isang samahan at magandang proyekto na hinding hindi ko malilimutan,” he wrote.

“Maraming maraming Salamat sa dedikasyon at tiwala na ibinigay nyo para mapaganda ang programa natin! Saludo ako sa inyong lahat!” the actor added.

He also expressed his gratitude to top honchos of ABS-CBN, as well as to Sen. Grace Poe, the late FPJ and Susan Roces.

“Sa ABS-CBN, Maraming Salamat po sa oportunidad at trabahong ipinagkatiwala nyo sa amin, sa aming mga Bosses: Tita Cory, Sir Carlo, Sir Mark, Sir Deo at sa lahat po ng bumubuo ng aming programa,” he wrote.
“Taos pusong pasasalamat po kay FPJ, sa aking Lola Susan, Ate Grace sa tiwala na ibinigay nyo sa amin para magawa ang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” Coco said.

He then ended his farewell message in the name of his character in ‘Ang Probinsyano’.

“Police Major Ricardo Dalisay, Signing Off,” Coco wrote.

"Ang Probinsyano" is one of the longest-running TV series of ABS-CBN. Its lead character has been Coco Martin from the very beginning.

'FPJ's Ang Probinsyano' aired its final episode on Friday, August 12. It finally came to an end after nearly seven years of giving exciting episodes. Multiple trending topics related to the show also landed spots on Twitter. These include #FPJAP7MissionAccomplished, Coco Martin, Mr. President and Cardo Dalisay, among others.

Coco, the lead role in 'Ang Probinsyano', also received a congratulatory message from Julia Montes, which immediately created an online buzz. It is worth noting that "Ang Probinsyano" finally aired its final episode after running for 7 years in Philippine television. According to Julia, it was an honor to be able to see and watch Coco work on the set of the show. She then emphasized how dedicated Coco was on the show and how much he loved his job.
