Rita ‘Badjao Girl’ Gaviola sa pangarap niyang maging beauty queen: “siguro sa anak ko na lang”

Rita “Badjao Girl” Gaviola was among the guest choices during Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” segment on Friday.

She graced the said segment along with celebrity moms Max Collins, Ryza Cenon and Arny Ross.

During her guesting, Rita was asked if she would still pursue her dream to be a beauty queen despite being a mother.

"Kamusta ang modeling? Diba pinapasok mo din ang modelling, ang pagbi-beauty queen? Paano 'yon, now that you're a mom and you're a businesswoman, pu-pursue mo pa ba?" host Ryan Agoncillo queried.

Rita then answered, “Ngayon po siguro, gusto ko pa naman, pero sa ngayon siguro kailangan ko munang mag-focus sa anak ko.”

The first-time mom likewise expressed that she would love to see her daughter, baby Kia, joining pageants in the future.

“Siguro kung darating man 'yung time na hindi ko natupad 'yung dream ko, siguro sa anak ko na lang. Sana balang araw, siya naman ang makita kong na lumaban sa mga pageant pageant.”

Rita Gaviola first made headlines when her photos during a festival in Lucban, Quezon were uploaded online. That was also the start of a better life for her. She got more popular when she joined Pinoy Big Brother 7.

Rita 'Badjao Girl' Gaviola took to social media and revealed that she is now a mom. She also uploaded some photos where she is with her newborn baby and her partner. The 'Pinoy Big Brother' ex-housemate expressed her love for her family. Her post has gone viral and received sweet messages from netizens.

Some bashers, however, wrote unsolicited comments on her posts which prompted Rita to reply. In one of her replies, the first-time mom said she is proud of herself for not resorting to abortion “para lang sa career”.
