Cristy Fermin, 66, has expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments over the split rumors surrounding Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero.

Earlier, netizens noticed that Heart changed her Instagram bio, removing both the "Ongpauco" and "Escudero" from her name and simply retaining "Love Marie" in it.

According to Cristy, nowadays, there is no relationship that is safe from rumors in the local showbiz industry.

"Alam mo, wala na talagang ligtas na relasyon ngayon. Isipin mo, ang pinagpipiyestahan ngayon sa social media ang diumano ay relasyong tumatabang nina Senador Chiz Escudero at Heart Evangelista," she began.

The veteran columnist continued on by saying that perhaps, the rumors began due to Heart constantly traveling to other places.

"Siguro, Romel, ito ay nag-ugat dun sa madalas na pagbiyahe ni Heart Evangelista sa iba't ibang bansa para sa kanyang pagrampa-rampa. Siguro, doon ito nagsimula," she theorized.

Eventually, Cristy shared honest sentiments about the couple, stating that she believes there is no problem between the two.

"Wala po, wala pong problema sina Heart at Senator Chiz. Siguro po, yung tinatawag na paghihiwalay ng pisikal, maaaring meron. Dahil syempre, si Heart ay abalang-abala sa kanyang mga aktibidad bilang modelo at aktres sa iba ibang bansa," she said. Cristy also added, "Hintayin po natin na sila mismo ang magsabi, pero I'm sure, wala, yun ang akin."
