Ogie-Diaz, in his latest Facebook post, lamented the seemingly hero tribute that several netizens accorded to Dr. Chao-Tiao Yumol.

The said physician is the primary suspect in the shooting incident that happened within the grounds of the Ateneo de Manila University.
That incident left three people dead, including former Lamitan Mayor Rosita Furigay, and several others injured.
The suspect claims he did the crime because he was frustrated by the supposedly non-action by government officials in quelling what he alleged as the rampant drug problem in the said town.

He also alleged that the former mayor was one of the masterminds of the drug groups operating in their town.
Several netizens praised Dr. Yumol, claiming what he did was heroic and for the country.
Ogie, however, had a different take on the said incident. He posed a question for everyone, asking them if they would still have the same reaction if it happened to their families.
“Paano kaya kung sa pamilya nila nangyari ito?” Ogie asked.
The showbiz reporter and talent manager also wondered if the said netizens would still have the same mindset in case it did happen to their families.
“Ganyan pa rin kaya andar ng mga utak ng mga hayp na to?” Ogie said.
The suspect was apprehended by authorities while fleeing the crime scene.

Ogie Diaz is a comedian and a talent manager who once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.
Recently, Ogie had Mayor Vico Sotto as guest in his YouTube vlog channel. During the interview, the Pasig City chief executive said he's focused on rendering service to the city rather than setting aside time for love life. The mayor said he talked about his love life in the past and after that, it seems people are more interested in his love life than what he's done for the city.
During the same interview of Mayor Vico by Ogie for the latter's vlog channel on YouTube, the Pasig City chief executive said he always parries questions about his love life. He said he doesn't want people to think he's just there to make "pagpapa-cute." Mayor Vico said he would rather have people notice what he and his team have done for the city.
