Lolit Solis expressed her appreciation and delight on social media upon becoming aware that socialite and former actress Gretchen Barretto had asked on her health status through a friend.

Manay Lolit also praised the gesture of Gretchen, who was able to inquire about Lolit, of asking around about the veteran showbiz columnist’s health status despite her busy schedule.

Gretchen had instructed her BFF, Rusky, to immediately call Lolit and check on her.

“Bongga, nabasa ni Rusky na bff ni Gretchen Barretto na nasa hospital ako. Call at sabi daw ni Gretchen kumustahin niya ako kung ano ang kalagayan,” Manay Lolit said.

“Bongga ang Gretchen dahil sa gitna ng mga skeds niya nasingit niya pa ang pag check kung ano ang nabasa niya sa IG, at sosyal ni Rusky dahil call siya agad, bongga,” she added.

It wasn’t clear what is ailing Manay Lolit, though she did mention in a previous post that her ailments were mostly brought about by old age.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities.

In one of her latest posts on Instagram, Manay Lolit jokingly said that Bea Alonzo’s hex on her might already be causing some effects. The veteran showbiz columnist said that she recently felt weak and lazy to do anything. She also said this was the reason why she wasn’t able to make some posts on her social media account. Manay Lolit has been calling out Bea in many of her posts in the past couple of months.

She also jestingly said that she will fight off the alleged hex of Bea Alonzo. Earlier, Manay Lolit was talking about her failing health and why she wasn’t able to frequently post on socmed. She then jokingly attributed her current condition to the alleged hex of the actress on her.
