Lolit Solis took to social media to pen a lengthy post where she shared her sentiments about having illness.

Manay Lolit said that when someone is ill, there is a feeling of hopelessness, and that having a support system is very essential.

“Siguro Salve iba talaga pagnagka sakit ka. Iyon feeling na parang hopeless ka pag emotionally weak ka puwede kang makaisip ng masama. Napaka importante talaga ng support group dahil iyon nagpapalakas talaga ng loob mo.”

Since her children are living abroad, the veteran entertainment columnist expressed appreciation to Salve, Gorgy, her talents and other friends who have been giving her courage.

“Kundi siguro sa inyo nila Gorgy at Salve, plus mga alaga ko at friends baka humina ang loob ko. Mag isa lang ako dito dahil nasa abroad ang 2 anak ko. May kanya kanya naman pamilya ang mga pamangkin ko at close relative. Mabuti na lang nandiyan iyon sister in law ko na nagbabantay sa akin.”

Manay Lolit also admitted, “Minsan nga nalo lowbat ako dahil feeling ko mag isa lang ako.”

She also feels like one week in the hospital is equivalent to a year.

“Sa isang linggo ko sa hospital para bang isang taon na iyon, hah hah. Kaya nga mahal na mahal ko mga friends ko na nandiyan sa tabi ko pag may ganitong problema. Forever grateful talaga. Salamat.”
