Cristy Fermin, along with Romel Chika and Morly Alinio, recently talked about Jake Zyrus’ estranged relationship with his family.

In the latest episode of “Showbiz Now Na” uploaded today, Jake and his family used each other for their own gain.

“Pero alam mo ang naging puhunan ni Charice do'n (popularity), 'yung hirap ng pamilya, 'yung paghihiwalay ng kanyang mga magulang,” said Cristy.

"Naging interesado ang tao," Romel aired.

Cristy continued, “Kung baga ginamit din naman ni Charice ang kanyang pamilya tungo sa pagsikat. Pareho lang silang naggamitan kaya pareho silang nagkakasamaan ng loob ngayon. Tanong na lang po ngayon, sino ba ang mas mabigat na nanggamit kanino.”

Furthermore, the veteran showbiz columnist recalled what the singer detailed in his book.

“Gumawa na nga siya ng libro e. Doon sa nabasa kong libro, sandamakmak talaga 'yung sama ng loob niya sa kanyang ina,” the entertainment reporter said.

“Pero doon, makikita mo talaga kung paano siyang ginamit ni Aling Raquel (Jake’s mom) bilang isang makinang pambuhay ng kanilang pamilya,” she added.

Jake Zyrus is a well-known singer and songwriter in the Philippines. He was previously known as Charice Pempengco, the girl who made international TV appearances because of her singing prowess.
