Billy Crawford and his wife, Coleen Garcia, were interviewed by Karen Davila on the latter’s YouTube channel.

During the interview, Billy opened up about his past battle with alcoholism, which was destroying his life.

At first, Billy was having a great time always drinking before and after work.

“I was addicted to alcohol, you know. My alcoholism was something else.

“I was going to Showtime drunk. Sometimes, pag after ASAP, diretso bahay, inom.

“It was a good time. To be honest with you, it was a great time,” Billy revealed.

However, later on, Billy started to experience its negative effects on his behavior and career.

“Pero, it was starting to affect me as a person. It was starting to affect my judgement.

"It was starting to affect my work. It was starting to affect kung sino talaga ako,” he shared.

Fortunately, Coleen was able to help Billy change his ways by inspiring him to be a better person without being forceful about it.

“I guess the difference between Coleen kasi was she was never forceful. Parang ang reverse psychology ng ginawa nito. Parang binaliktad na lang, ‘You do whatever you want,’ parang ganun.

“Parang ako na yung, ‘I’m too tired. Ayaw ko nang uminom.’

"I hate the feeling, hangover feeling after — the headaches, the restlessness, the fatigue, etc., etc. Nakakaapekto sa trabaho,” Billy explained.
