Anak ni Anthony Taberna na si Zoey, ibinahaging cancer-free na siya: “I thought it was the end for me”

- The young girl recently revealed in a social media post that after almost half a year of treatment, it appears that she may have surmounted the trial

- She also revealed in her post that at the outset, she thought it was already the end for her

- Zoey then took the opportunity to thank everyone who helped and supported her throughout the ordeal

Anthony Taberna’s young daughter, Zoey, happily shared that she’s now cancer-free.

In a recent post on Facebook, Zoey shared that after almost half a year of treatment, it appears that she may have overcome the ailment.

The 13-year-old and her family went to Singapore in late January of this year to seek treatment there.

“After 167 long days, we went back home to the philippines. and now i am totally cancer free,” Zoey shared.

She said that every bad thing that she has experienced after being diagnosed with the ailment is now a blur.

Zoey also said that she thought her life would end at 13.

“Literally every bad thing that happened to me was such a blur. i'm not gonna lie, there were so many times that i thought that it was the end for me. That my life would end at 13 years old,” she said.

Even now, the 13-year-old still can’t believe she was able to handle the difficult episodes that happened to her.

“When i try to remember some of the difficult episodes that happened to me, the only thought in my mind is 'wow. nagawa ko pala 'yon,” she shared.

Zoey was diagnosed with the ailment way back in December of 2019. Her doctors advised her family to seek treatment in Singapore as it’s more medically advanced there.

Anthony Taberna is a Filipino broadcaster. He is known as Ka Tunying. He is known for being a part of ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda and of Dos Por Dos.

In December of 2020, Anthony’s daughter Zoey took to Instagram and shared how she battled leukemia. She expressed fear, saying that when she heard the word "leukemia," she was really afraid. The 12-year-old girl also thanked everyone who saw her through the hard times of her life. She also said that even though she shaved all her hair and had to undergo chemotherapy, she still stayed strong and that it should not be a reason to break her spirit.

In April of this year, Anthony emotionally shared the ordeal of his daughter Zoey. He was with Zoey when the 13-year-old experienced profuse bleeding in her nose. Anthony admitted feeling proud of her daughter when she saw her remain strong despite what was happening to her. The famous broadcaster also thanked the doctors of Zoey who stayed with the young girl until she was released from the hospital.
