Earlier, she posted a video where the Queen of All Media gave some details on her current health condition.
“For now, 12 noon, June 29, 2022 where we are-this is what i felt you needed to know, straight from me para alam ng lahat ito ang to totoo,” Kris said.
The actress also gave her followers some idea about several medical tests and procedures that she has been through.
She then bid her followers goodbye, at least for now, because Kris said she won’t be active on social media for about a year and a half.
“This isn’t a permanent goodbye, ibalato nyo na lang hanggang malagpasan namin itong matinding pagsubok. Thank you for all your prayers- i am forever #grateful,” she added.
Angel Locsin was among the first celebrities to react, posting three folded hand emojis signifying she’s praying for Kris.
Angeline Quinto also wrote her prayer and message of encouragement for the Queen of All Media.
“Pagaling ka ate. Praying for you always ate Kris. Matatapos at lilipas din ito,” Angeline wrote.
Eric Santos also wrote that he’s praying for Kris, while longtime friend Darla Sauler also posted her message of hope.
“Fighting! Malalampasan din natin to Krisy. Manalig,” Darla wrote.
Kristina Bernadette Cojuangco Aquino, better known as Kris Aquino, is a Pinay actress, TV host, producer, endorser, and businesswoman. She was born on February 14, 1971 to former Senator Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. and former President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino.
Recently, Kris posted an update on her condition on her IG account. She posted a video, which showed some of the treatments that she has been getting. In the video, Kris showed that her two sons, Bimby and Josh, were with her, supporting her all the way amid the painful treatment. Kris admitted that her body went through so much, especially during treatment, and at one point cried because of the pain.
The condition of Kris was also among the topics discussed by veteran columnist, Cristy Fermin, in her "Showbiz Now Na." She said that even Filipino medical workers based in Texas are clueless about the hospital where Kris Aquino is being treated. Nanay Cristy then cited a certain law called Hospital Insurance Portability and Accountability Act as the reason why there is no information about Kris yet. The entertainment columnist likewise claimed that even some reporters sent to Texas also couldn’t find where Kris is currently confined.
