It can be recalled that just yesterday, Leon posted the said letter on social media where he addressed Dennis’ now-deleted posts about not receiving Father’s Day greetings from Leon and his sisters, Julia and Claudia Barretto.

In the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, the showbiz columnist urged her listeners to understand the feelings of both parties.

“Kapag binalanse natin, si Dennis madalas naman nating maibigay ang kanyang panig. Kasi 'di ba, kulturang Pilipino, ang magulang, anuman ang pagkukulang ay magulang pa rin at ang mga anak ay mga anak lang. Pero hindi tayo dapat magpakulong sa ganu'ng paniniwala. May mga pagkakataon na ang mga anak ay mayroon ding punto sa kanilang mga hinampo.”

Furthermore, Nanay Cristy commented, “At dito nga sa post ni Leon, makikita mo na hindi lang si Dennis ang nasasaktan.”

“Sila mang magkakapatid ay para silang naglalaro ng patintero, hindi nila alam kung saan sila lulugar. Kaya nga sabi ni Leon, tuwing dumadating ang Father's Day, naiinggit siya sa maraming milyon-milyong anak na bumabati nang malaya sa kanilang tatay. Samantalang silang tatlong magkakapatid, hindi nila alam kung papano nilang itatawid ang kanilang pagbati.”

“At ang pinakamatindi niyang sinabi diyan. 'Papa, natutuwa ka ba na kaming mga anak mo ay dinadaan mo sa social media, pati ang masasakit na salita na talagang nanunugat sa amin, diyan mo pinadadaan?’”

“May punto e, may punto,” Cristy stressed.

Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia, better known by his screen name Dennis Padilla, is a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster and actor. He was born on February 9, 1962 to the late actor-comedian Prudencio Baldivia and Catalina Baldivia. He is the father of popular actress Julia Barretto. Dennis already has another family.

Leon Barretto has recently addressed Dennis Padilla’s now-deleted posts about not receiving Father’s Day greetings from him, Claudia and Julia Barretto. The 19-year-old son of Dennis and Marjorie Barretto broke his silence about the said issue through an open letter.

Dennis Padilla then said sorry to his son in an Instagram post. In his post, the celebrity dad explained that he just misses Leon and his sisters, Julia and Claudia Barretto. The actor published his apology along with an adorable throwback photo of him and Leon.
