Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, shared what she heard about Tom Rodriguez’s behavior when he was still working at TV5.

The veteran showbiz columnist said that according to hearsay, Tom used to crumple his script papers when he was having a hard time memorizing his lines.
“Bago siya napunta ng GMA-7, dito muna siya sa atin sa TV5. At ibang kwento naman ang nasagap ng dalawang tenga ko na laging nakabukas. Noon pala kapagka hindi niya ma-memorize 'yung mga lines niya, paulit-ulit, aminin ni Tom, hindi siya nate-take one, maraming takes bago niya makuha ang isang eksena. Kapag naiinis pala siya dahil hindi niya mamemorya ang kanyang mga linya, 'yun palang script niya nilulukot niya, tinatapon niya.”
Due to Tom’s alleged anger management problem, Cristy aired that Carla Abellana’s statement against Tom is somehow believable.
“So sa punto na 'yon, medyo kapani-paniwala 'yung sinabi ni Carla na talagang ganu'n ang kanyang ugali. 'Yung tipong wala raw siyang karapatang maging malungkot, sumimangot at kung ano-ano pa dahil sigurado makakatikim siya,” said Cristy.
It can be recalled that in a lengthy response to a basher, the actress disclosed that “7 na taon po akong bawal magalit, magtampo, masaktan, mabigo, malungkot, madismaya dahil hindi po pwede.”
Carla also accused,“Makakatikim po ako kahit subukan ko pong ipaliwanag sa kanya na nasasaktan niya ako at hindi po tama ang mga ginagawa niya."
Furthermore, Cristy added, “Pero paglilinaw po, sabi ng aking mga sources, hindi po nananakit ng tao si Tom."
"Pader po ang kanyang sinusuntok at saka mga silya at siya po ang nasasaktan. Nagdudugo ang kanyang pingkok, ang kanyang kamay.”

According to the talent manager’s source, Carla Abellana had been convincing Tom to seek professional help because of his alarming mental state. Ogie’s source also told him that Tom allegedly tried to take his own life several times before.
