According to Lolit, being forced to hide who you truly are can lead to depression and mental health issues.
Furthermore, the showbiz reporter appreciated that many people expressed their support for Miel.
“Hanga ako sa anak nila Sharon Cuneta at Kiko Pangilinan na si Miel ,Salve. Iyon paglalantad niya at pagiging open tungkol sa kanyang sarili, very courageous for a young woman like her.
“Talagang mas gusto niya na maging open kesa tago ang mga ginagawa at kung ano at sino siya talaga. Hindi kataka taka na maging supportive ang lahat sa kanya dahil meron siyang tapang na aminin ang tunay niyang katauhan.
