She made the remark in one of her recent posts on her Instagram account.
Manay Lolit said it’s a pity if Matteo wouldn’t have the chance to showcase his talent in hosting or acting.
“Sayang naman si Matteo Guidecelli kung hindi magkakaruon ng chance ipakita ang talent niya sa hosting o kahit sa acting,” Manay Lolit said.

She said people should see Matteo’s talent in hosting so there would be variety in events.
“Dapat kasi na makita na kung ano ang talento niya sa hosting para naman magkaruon ng iba ibang choices sa mga nagaganap na mga happenings,” she added.
The veteran showbiz columnist pointed out that the actor is very articulate and witty, which is why he’s best fit for hosting tasks.
“Very articulate at witty si Matteo kaya bagay na bagay sa mga hosting job,” the columnist said.
She lamented, however, on rumors that Matteo allegedly asks for a high TF, which might be why he is seldom offered hosting jobs.
“Sayang nga lang at baka tutoo na sobra ang hinihingi niyang TF kaya hindi siya madalas makuha para maging host,” Manay Lolit wrote.
The veteran columnist said that the actor should learn to approach his career in a practical way as jobs in the entertainment industry are still limited.
“At this point kailangan magkaruon ng practical approach sa career ang bawat stars. Bigayan muna, dahil bihira nga ang trabaho, adjust muna sa lahat. Pagbalik sa normal saka na ulit ang mga demands. Grab the chance, maliit o malaki man ang TF , give your best,” Manay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
Recently, Manay Lolit also made a post on IG about Bea Alonzo, claiming that the actress is a power-tripper who has insecurity issues. The entertainment columnist alleged that Bea is insecure because her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson replaced her with Julia Barretto. She also claimed that Bea purposely made reporters wait for her for two hours during her Beautederm press conference. In recent months, Lolit has continuously criticized Bea online but the actress has ignored all of her rants.
The veteran columnist also posted about Moira Dela Torre allegedly seeming to want everything that happens in her life to be written and published by the media. Manay Lolit claimed it’s like Moira wanted the public to know everything about her married life. Manay Lolit said that while it’s okay for everything to be known, it would be difficult to erase what’s already in the minds of the public. She then said this is particularly true if Moira finds a new love at some point in the future.
