The group was last witnessed by the public performing together in their farewell concert way back on December 10 of 2015 at the Smart Araneta.

While they did not disband, the group went on an indefinite hiatus with no confirmation as to whether they would perform together again.

In a post by Neri Miranda, wife of Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, one can see all the members of Kamikazee performing in a place in Baguio City.

“Nasa @limeandbasilbaguiocity ang buong KAMIKAZEE!” Neri wrote in her post.

They appear to be complete.

According to Neri, it looks as though the group decided to eat together, and they suddenly thought of jamming after.

“Yung kumain lang sila tapos na-tripan nilang mag jam, hehe! Parang si Chito lang last time! Biglang naki-jam!” Neri further wrote.

She then pointed out how lucky are the customers in that particular place in Baguio as they were able to see Kamikazee perform again as a full group.

Kamikazee is one of the most popular OPM bands in the country. They are known for their hit songs “Narda,” “Martyr Nyebera,” “Huling Sayaw,” and many more. The band is composed of frontman Jay Contreras, Jomal Linao and Led Tuyay on guitars, Jason "Puto" Astete on bass, and Allan "Bords" Burdeos on drums.

Last month, the band’s drummer, Allan Burdeos, slammed rumors about their alleged participation in the UniTeam’s campaign rally scheduled for April 10, 2022 in Zamboanga. He denied the band is part of the lineup of performers who will entertain the crowd at the scheduled rally and said “mga sinungaling,” though he did not say to whom he was addressing this particular phrase.

In a social media post, Allan posted the alleged poster circulating online showing their band’s name along with other popular bands like Parokya ni Edgar and IV of Spades. The Parokya ni Edgar official page and Blaster Silonga of the IV of Spades earlier denied their participation in the event.

Two years ago, the Pinoy showbiz industry was surprised to learn that Kamikazee’s frontman, Jay Contreras, has separated from his wife, Sara Abad, the sister of Kaye. The two tied the knot in 2009 and their marriage produced two children.
