According to Lolit, the energy and the segments are hilarious and polished.
She also compared LOL to the ABS-CBN noontime program “It’s Showtime,” claiming that the latter has worse scripts and its gimmicks are tiresome.
However, Lolit said that LOL can never overtake the number one spot held by the GMA show “Eat Bulaga.”
“Nakakahinayang ang Lunch Out Loud Salve. Ang lalaki din ng mga hosts nila like Billy Crawford, Bayani Agbayani, Isabelle Daza , at isa pang female host na ok naman, pero bakit parang walang ingay ang programa. Sayang kasi pinanuod ko siya ng 1week at Ok naman siya.
“Energetic at maganda ang mga speils. Nakakatawa ang mga comedy line, maayos ang takbo ng programa. Sayang nga at hindi ito napapansin. Dapat siguro maka isip ng iba pang marketing strategy sila PatP at Brightlight dahil puwedeng puwede lumaban ang Lunch Out Loud sa tanghali.
“Huwag ng isipin talunin ang Eat Bulaga na talagang pader na, pero to be a second alternative kayang kaya ng LOL. Mas maganda pa nga ang takbo ng script nila kesa sa Showtime na nakakasawa na ang ilang gimmicks. Lunch Out Loud, make it louder at bonggang bongga,” Lolit wrote.
