Sen. Grace did not say when exactly her mother asked her to do this, though in an interview with the media, the lady senator said that when they brought the veteran actress to the hospital, this is what she’s been saying.

“Nu’ng dinala namin sa ospital, ang ipinagbibilin niya palagi, yung mga apo niya na kailangan daw dalhin namin sa Baguio yung mga bata,” Sen. Grace said during the interview.

She also revealed that Susan asked her to take care of the house of her father, Fernando Poe, Jr., in Baguio so her grandchildren would have a place to stay when they go up there.

“Tapos ang bahay daw ng papa ko doon, ayusin ko raw para yung mga bata puwede daw magbakasyon doon. Yun ang mga naiisip niya,” the legislator said.

Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora-Poe, more popularly known as Susan Roces, is a Filipina actress and producer. She is the wife of veteran actor Fernando Poe, Jr. She was also dubbed as the "Queen of Philippine Movies" and she has made more than 130 films.

The remains of multi-awarded veteran actress Susan Roces now lie in state at the Heritage Memorial Park. Her daughter, Sen. Grace Poe, has also announced that public viewing would commence May 22 to May 24. Sen. Grace officially announced her mother’s demise on May 20. Many showbiz personalities and celebrities mourned the death of the well-loved actress.

In a separate post, Lawrence Sonora Cruz, the nephew of Susan Roces, has also announced her passing at the age of 80. Lawrence took to Facebook to express his grief over the passing of the movie queen. Ogie Diaz also expressed his sadness regarding the unfortunate news on Twitter. His post shocked many netizens and people were extremely saddened by Susan's sudden passing.
