- The pilot said in a post that VP Leni Robredo caused a diversion of flights, however, it turned out later that his claims had no basis at all
- CebuPac's response was for its VP of Flight Operations to issue an apology to VP Leni and underscored that the pilot is under disciplinary review
- The comedian was not satisfied with such response and noted that the pilot should have been fired to serve as a warning to other employees

Ogie Diaz clearly did not like the way that Cebu Pacific responded to the case of the pilot who insinuated that VP Leni caused a diversion of flights.

The comedian, after Cebu Pacific released its statement asked, "Yun lang yon?"
He then added that the more appropriate action would have been to fire the erring pilot so that it would serve as a warning to others.
He added that if this would be the case, next time around they would also be very careful with their actions.

Ogie Diaz, or Roger Diaz Pandaan in real life, is a Pinoy actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was born on January 2, 1970 in Quezon City and was known as “Pekto” in the popular and long-running TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also known as the talent manager of award-winning actress, Liza Soberano, and is also the man behind the YouTube channel, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.”
Ogie Diaz took to Twitter and expressed his dismay over those who bashed VP Leni. He said that VP simply ironed the toga of Jillian, and many started bashing her. The comedian could no longer hold back his emotions, and told bashers, "Wag kayong inggitera." He then told them to likewise iron clothes.
Ogie Diaz slammed a netizen who wished that the plane where VP Leni Robredo was on bound for America would crash. The talent manager and showbiz reporter said that he wished the netizen would meet such fate. He also told the netizen that in case it happens, Ogie would just send flowers to him. Ogie is one of the most ardent supporters of VP Leni and would often be the host of some political rallies during the campaign period.
