Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis called on everyone to tone down their rhetoric or just be quiet because elections are over and there is already a winner.

She said this in one of her recent posts on her Instagram account.
According to Manay Lolit, there should be a closure to the election issue.
“Dapat siguro Salve matapos na iyan issue ng election,” she wrote in her IG post.

The veteran columnist called on everyone to be quiet as there is already a winner.
“Tumahimik na lahat dahil tapos na, may nanalo na,” Manay Lolit further wrote.
She explained that no one can claim cheating because of the huge difference between the victor and the vanquished.
“Hindi mo puwede sabihin daya dahil malaki ang difference ng winner sa natalo,” the veteran columnist said.
Without naming any names, she slammed those who kept on talking about the elections.
“Saka alam mo ba na the more na nagsasalita ka, the more na magmumukha kang pathetic,” she said.
Manay Lolit then addressed supporters of the losing candidate, asking them to just accept the results.
“Tutoo, panindigan mo iyon pinili mo, pero pag talo na, tanggapin mo,” the veteran columnist wrote.
She then expressed frustration at those who kept on churning talks about the alleged presence of cheating during the elections.
“Kainis na lagi na lang may alibi para sa loser, pag talo, talo. No amount of alibis can cover up your being a loser,” Manay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
In a separate post, Manay Lolit discussed about the strength of the political base of BBM compared to VP Leni Robredo. She also expressed wonderment at why the mammoth crowds at rallies of VP Leni failed to be converted into votes. Manay Lolit then shared her opinion that might explain what happened in this case.
She also previously penned a commentary about celebrities who supposedly endorsed politicians in an arrogant way. The entertainment columnist wants to see how those allegedly boastful stars will accept the defeat of their chosen candidates. Furthermore, Lolit speculated that their arrogant behavior might have turned off some of the voters. Finally, she advised those celebrities to not go overboard and avoid being self-righteous when endorsing politicians.
