Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis, in a recent Instagram post, described the life of celebrity mom Mariel Rodriguez as bonggang-bongga.

She also revealed that Mariel’s business, Cooking Ina, is very successful, though the veteran columnist admitted she isn’t aware if the celebrity mom is still the owner of the business outfit.

“Hindi ko alam kung si Mariel Rodriguez parin ang may ari ng Cooking Ina na nagdi deliver ng quality steaks,” Manay Lolit wrote in her post.

“Ito kasi ang nabalitang business niya nuon kaya tinatanong ko. Bongga siya dahil steaks ang kanyang line, quality steak at talagang premium, kaya tiyak na medyo pricey ito,” she added.

The veteran columnist said that Mariel’s business is good because it’s popular many people.

“Marami na ang nakaka alam na basta kailangan mo ng quality steaks, Cooking Ina ang tawagan mo. Kaya kung ito ang business ni Mariel bongga, lalo pa ngayon na number 1 si Robin Padilla sa Senate lists ng mga nanalo, double whammy talaga,” Manay Lolit said.

She also revealed that Mariel is currently in Spain with her kids having a vacation.

“Bongga rin na dinala niya sa Spain sng mga anak nila ni Robin para mag bakasyon. Grande talaga ang lahat sa buhay ngayon ni Mariel Rodriguez. Bonggang bongga,” Lolit wrote.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.

Andrea Brillantes was deprived of a free service from a salon because she called BBM supporters “bobo,” according to Lolit Solis. The veteran showbiz columnist said that had Andrea been a big star, the salon might have let pass her statement. Manay Lolit also said that since she’s just a novice without any star factor, what shouldn’t have happened to her happened. The columnist also said that what happened to Andrea should serve as a lesson to everyone.

Lolit Solis posted about why some of the big celebrities’ endorsement of certain politicians failed. Some of those big stars went overboard in endorsing their chosen candidates and showed a holier-than-thou attitude, Lolit said. She also believes that celebrities constantly bashing and criticizing the past mistakes of rival politicians turned off many voters. The entertainment columnist added that some of those stars should have shown more respect for rival politicians and their supporters.
