Arjo Atayde’s heart truly belongs to politics and public service, according to veteran showbiz columnist, Manay Lolit Solis.

She then said that she liked that the actor won as congressman in the recently concluded elections.
“Gusto ko ang panalo ni Arjo Atayde bilang congressman,” Manay Lolit wrote in one of her latest Instagram posts.
The veteran showbiz columnist then expressed her opinion that Arjo’s mom, Sylvia Sanchez, must be very happy with her son’s win as she was at the forefront of the campaign.

Manay Lolit revealed that people would often approach Sylvia to ask for help and it was also the veteran actress who would often rush to help out with the campaign.
“Gusto ko dahil alam ko na maligaya si Sylvia Sanchez para sa anak,” the veteran columnist further wrote.
“Mas pagod si Sylvia sa pagtakbo ni Arjo dahil siya ang madalas lapitan ng lahat ng naghahanap ng tulong at mas aligaga siya sa pag aayos ng mga bagay bagay na kailangan ni Arjo Atayde,” she added.
She said that politics is truly in the heart of Arjo and it was his dream for a long time, which is why it isn’t surprising he entered the world of public service.
“Talaga palang nasa puso at dream ni Arjo ang pagpasok sa pulitika. Hindi kataka takang dito siya napunta,” she said.
Manay Lolit then said that Arjo is very lucky as he was able to achieve his dream at a young age.
“At suwerte na bata pa siya ay natupad na ang kanyang pangarap. Congrats Arjo, dream big, look up, and WIN,” Manay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
In another post, Manay Lolit discussed about Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto's political career, which, according to the veteran columnist is running so smooth that he could aspire for a higher office in the future. She also said that Vico is fit for a higher office since he is an achiever. Manay Lolit expressed belief that Vico’s father and mother, Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes, must be very proud of their son. Manay Lolit also said that added to all the good attributes of Vico is his lovelife, which many are undoubtedly watching.
The veteran showbiz columnist also recently penned a commentary about celebrities who supposedly endorsed politicians in an arrogant way. She said she wants to see how those allegedly boastful stars will accept the defeat of their chosen candidates. Furthermore, Lolit speculated that their arrogant behavior might have turned off some of the voters. Finally, she advised those celebrities to not go overboard and avoid being self-righteous when endorsing politicians.
