Andrea Brillantes, in a series of Twitter posts, showed that she is a strong woman amid all the bashing that she has experienced.

In one tweet, the actress indicated that she did not regret having chosen to stand and support VP Leni Robredo.

The actress retweeted a post by Renz Saavedra where he enumerated the alleged discrepancies during elections.

Andrea also made a firm stand.

“Anumang ipukol sa akin, kailanman ay 'di ko pagsisisihan na ako'y nanindigan,” Andrea tweeted.

Andrea supported the campaign of VP Leni Robredo, who lost to President-elect Bongbong Marcos by a wide margin.

VP Leni got only 14-plus million votes against former Senator Marcos’ 31-plus million votes, clearly a landslide by today’s standards.

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.”

Recently, she also took to TikTok and made a lengthy narrative, a message for first-time voters. She said that the usual criticism she would hear is that she is still quite young, implying that she does not know anything because of her age. Andrea then said that first-time voters must not worry because they are not alone. The actress then ended the video by saying that she may be a first-time voter, but it is not her first time being a Filipino, and that she is voting for VP Leni Robredo.

Andrea indicated that she and her boyfriend Ricci respect each others different political views. The two support different candidates, Andrea has declared she's Kakampink while Ricci is a supporter of the BBM-Sara tandem. According to Andrea, she believes that she can convince her boyfriend to change his mind come election day.
