Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez recently dedicated a heartfelt message to Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.
A few days after Celeste won the pageant, Beatrice took to her Instagram page to express how proud she is of her successor.
“To our dearest @celeste_cortesi, we are tremendously proud of you already!” Bea penned alongside a photo showing her crowning Celeste.
Bea furthermore told the beauty queen from Pasay, “The heavens indeed blessed you to be our Miss Universe Philippines 2022 and without a doubt you will do great in representing our country at the 71st Miss Universe.”

Celeste Cortesi was born on December 15, 1997 to a Filipino mother and an Italian father. The beauty queen from Pasay first made her presence known in the local pageant scene through the Miss Earth Philippines 2018 competition. She became even more well-known after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant. The 24-year-old stunner grew up in Italy and moved to the Philippines to pursue pageantry.
