Megastar Sharon Cuneta posted on her Instagram account her expressions of gratitude to her daughter Frankie Pangilinan, who is often referred to as Kakie.

Kakie has been actively campaigning for her father, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and VP Leni Robredo in their quest to be the country’s next leaders.
In her post, Sharon said she’s very proud and blessed to be the mother of Kakie, whom she also called Baba.
“My Kakie, my Baba. I am so very proud of you and so blessed to be your Mama,” Shawie wrote.

She then reposted Kakie’s post which narrated her experience in the campaign.

Kaninang umaga, dumating sa maynila ang mga iba’t-ibang magsasaka mula sa bukidnon, camarines sur, pampanga, at iba pang mga lalawigan upang suportahan ang #LeniKiko tandem. nakausap ko ang ilan sa kanila—sila’y nagmartsa ng maraming araw bilang pagsuporta sa ating mga minamahal na kandidato,” Kakie’s post read.
In her post, Kakie also highlighted how inspired she was to be the daughter of Shawie and Sen. Kiko.
“Sa baclaran, nagkaroon din ng blessing dahil ngayon ang 26th wedding anniversary nina mommy at daddeh. 26 years ng pagmamahal… how deeply inspiring and humbling it is to be your daughter. i do not know how you do the things you do,” Kakie wrote.
She also revealed that she brought her brother Miguel in QC to take part in their house to house campaign.
“Sa hapon naman, dinala ko ang aming mga bunso sa QC upang makagawa ng H2H (house to house? heart to heart? pareho lang naman ata). my favorite thing in the world is being their ate. i am overjoyed to be home. ipanalo na natin ‘to,” Kakie’s post read.
Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent and veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She already expressed her intent to retire from showbiz.
Sharon was recently praised by veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin. The veteran columnist said Shawie is very educated when speaking during campaigns.
Shawie also took to Instagram and shared a screenshot of the result of Google Trends on April 28. It showed that for president, VP Leni Robredo still maintains her lead at 57%. For the vice president, Sen. Kiko overtakes Sara Duterte, and now has 42% versus 40% of Sara. The Megastar then offered everything to God and said that “win or lose, we will accept Your will graciously.”
