Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic.
Pokwang revealed on social media a harmonious decision that she and her neighbors recently made. The Kapuso comedienne opened up that they formed a “team bantay bilangan sa Mayo 9.” Its members include both supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo and Bongbong Marcos. They formed this group because they all wanted a clean and honest election.
Previously, Pokwang shared on social media her experience in their house-to-house campaign in Antipolo. The comedienne joined other celebrities and volunteers in talking to people about the Team Leni-Kiko tandem. Pokwang revealed that they did house to house campaign and said that the people accepted them as who they are. The comedienne also revealed that she felt that it is only on social media where people are angry at them but in real life, they are very much accepted.
