According to Moira, she and Joe were friends for 12 years until his death.

Furthermore, Moira uploaded a throwback video of them having a duet.

Based on her post, Moira seems to be completely heartbroken over the tragedy. She did not give details on the cause of Joe’s death.

“i've never lost a friend before. but today i lost one of the best ones. you were the best listener. you're everyone's ‘common friend’. You made everyone feel they were funny and important and validated and wherever you went, everyone around you was sure to make a new friend because of you.
“When i first moved to Manila, and felt afraid to dream, you dreamed with me. you sang with me. and even in the years we fought (lol i h8 u), you made sure i knew you were celebrating with me.

“joejoe, who will @jacquedeborja and i rant to now whenever we fight. I’m sorry i never read the books you told me to read and i never returned neverwhere to you. 12yrs of friendship isnt enough joe but thank you for giving me the pippin to my sam. i love you joe. i love you so so much. i'll keep missing you,” Moira wrote on Instagram.

She rose to fame with her songs “Malaya” and “Titibo-Tibo.” The singer is known for her emotional and dramatic music that is relatable to the masses. Moira, a devout Christian, is married to fellow music artist Jason Marvin.

Moira dela Torre announced that she will be performing at Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan’s “People’s Rally.” A netizen alleged in the comments section of her post that Moira will be paid around P1-5 million for performing at the said campaign event. The music artist quickly denied that she is getting paid for performing at the event. She clarified that she volunteered to perform at the event without any payment.

Moira dela Torre’s hilarious TikTok video has earned over 806,000 views. The said video shows Moira and actor Richard Gutierrez lip-syncing to the OPM song “Ikaw at Ako.” That song was originally performed by Moira and her husband, Jason Marvin, who appeared at the end of the video. Richard lip-synced Jason’s parts of the song as his wife, Sarah Lahbati, also appeared in the clip.
